Mr. Andrew Hamilton
Instructor

Mr. Hamilton started training with Red Tiger Karate in 2002. He teaches at Hedrick Elementary in Lewisville and Vickery Elementary in Flower Mound.

Andrew Hamilton started karate to have a shared interest with his wife and sons. He also enjoys the friendships he has forged throughout training. Sparring is his favorite part of karate but he is also known for his excellent street self-defense.

Mr. Hamilton was the 2004 Adult Student of the Year and was also Mrs. Mayfield's Black Belt Medal winner. Mr. Hamilton has contributed a great deal to Red Tiger Karate and has been a major part of every milestone event. He is truly a dedicated martial artist.

Mr. Hamilton was born and raised in Australia. He also lived in London before moving to the Dallas area. His career path is just as interesting, having worked as a cowboy, drover (someone who drives a herd) as well as other industries including construction and tourism. For the past decade, he has owned his own business called "Husband for Hire" where he specializes in remodeling and house repairs.

Interestingly enough, his hobbies include darts and he has represented Dallas and Texas in competitions. He and his wife Sandra (from Ireland) have been married for sixteen years and they have two sons; Raymond (Jr. Black Belt) and Sean (approaching Red Belt).
